This article will show you how to configure your occupancy limits and fees for each site type.
- Login to your BookOutdoors Operator Portal account.
- Click on Property Listings in the left navigation
- Click on the property listing that you want to set up a Stripe Connected Account for. You will need to set up a separate Stripe Connected Account for each property you have listed.
- Click on the Site Types tab of the listing.
- Click on the site type name that you want to edit.
- Set the Max occupancy for the site type in the Site Type Details section.
- In the Rates & Fees section:
- Set the Billable Minimum Age, if you have one. Children under this age are free.
- Set the number of Adults/Children/Pets/Vehicles that are included in the base rate.
- Set the Fee for Extra Adults/Children/Pets/Vehicles, and indicate whether this is a daily fee or a flat fee per booking.
- Uncheck the Taxable checkbox is the fee should not be included in sales tax calculations.
- If you charge other fees, like Cleaning Fees or Resort Fees, include those in the Custom Fees section.
- Click on Add a custom fee link to add a row for a custom fee.
- Give the custom fee a name or choose from one of the suggested options.
- Enter the amount of the fee, and indicate whether this is a daily fee or a flat fee per booking.
- Repeat for as many custom fees as you have.
- Click on Add a custom fee link to add a row for a custom fee.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page to save changes.
- Set the Billable Minimum Age, if you have one. Children under this age are free.
